I know a girl – /fiction makes her feel / but reality makes her cry / sometimes she can’t tell / the difference.
but that’s okay – / I’m that way too.
She binges on biography / then purges on prose / nourishment in the form / of footnotes
She gives life to the / people on the page / and they become kindred / spirits
so none will be / lonely / again.
