Maybe Cupid Isn’t That Bad After All

I walked into my office tonight after a long day at work and found this in my typewriter:

My wife isn’t a typewriter user, but she humors my obsession.  That said please excuse her margins and spacing…I for one think this may be the best piece to ever come from this machine.  Then again, perhaps I’m just a little bias.

(I know a few of the things she spoke of beg elaboration…just ask if you’re so inclined!)

Why I Use A Typewriter by Peter (a.k.a. manualentry)

I’ve been seeing a lot of the lined paper lately…even I did it.  Nice to know I’m not the only one who wasn’t too keen on it! ;u)

**NOTE** Due to the positive response to this post, I’ve decided to extend the deadline to Saturday, Jan. 29.  I’ll decide the winner of the letterhead and post their name on Monday, Jan. 31 – and I’ll give the details on the next interactive post then, too!

**NOTE 2** Please check out Deek’s latest typecast – Word Rebel, Ink. fully supports his idea, and we’re sure you will, too!!

Now – without further ado – Here is why Peter uses a typewriter!

Why I Use A Typewriter by Dan (a.k.a. Deek, a.k.a TypeClack)

Here is the first response to my question “Why do you use a typewriter?”  I felt this was a rather obvious question but I have been very surprised by the deep and introspective answers!  Thanks to Dan and don’t forget I’m still taking submissions through tomorrow.  They don’t have to be typed on a banger, but it sure is neat to see.  If you have any questions about the post or the prize to be won (!!) check the original post.  Please feel free to tell anyone else in the typosphere that may be interested in this!
